Narrated al-Barra’ bin ‘Azib r.a., Prophet PBUH said,
"No two Muslims, who, when they meet and then shook each others hands except that all their sins will be forgiven before they go their separate ways."
[Abu Daud]

Salam Ramadan 1431H from all of us here @ Darul Makmur Mosque

We would like to share this checklist as a reflection for all, especially in this blessed month of Ramadan. Keep this checklist with you. Let us strive to strengthen our iman. Let us cleanse our intentions – that we fast because of Allah swt. Let us strengthen our belief in the greatness of Allah swt.

Let us fill our hearts with a yearning for Allah swt’s mercy and compassion. Let us reignite in our hearts a sense of shame and regret for all our sins to Allah swt.

Let us soften our hearts and cleanse our souls from all evil traits; from arrogance, hatred and enmity for others. We replace these with a sincere and strong iman, one that we can taste its sweetness in our hearts.

May this Ramadan be one of our best Ramadans and most meaningful. Let us grab this opportunity, and appreciate this gift. Do not waste it. None of us know if we will meet next year’s Ramadan.

Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

(Quran 2:185)
